Who We Are
Dot Academy is powered by the agency experts at Dot Marketing and Design. We’ve stripped away the high costs and lengthy timelines of traditional higher education to bring you an intensive, agency-ready Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Program that fits your life.
4 Step Approach to Lessons at Dot Academy:
1. Watch the Lesson Videos: Every lesson begins instructional videos. As you watch, feel free to pause at any moment to take notes. These will be an invaluable resource as you move through the remaining steps. You can also come back and reference the information from the videos!
2. Complete the Practice Activities. Put what you have learned into action through a series of guided practice activites. This step is designed to help you build confidence and refine your skills before completing the final project. Practice activities can be found in the Dot Academy Practice Workbook.
3. Complete the Knowledge Check: You will then take a quiz to test your understanding of the material. A score of 90% or higher is required to pass. You can save your progress and return later, or retake the quiz as many times as you need. Feel free to use your notes as you won’t be able to access the video while taking the quiz.
4. Submit Your Project: Each section concludes with a hands-on final project. Review the project instructions completely before starting, then upload and submit your file. Some projects may require you to print a specific worksheet.
Who Our Program Is For
We built Dot Academy with three specific type of people in mind:
The High Scool Graduate
As you finish high school, a traditional four-year university and thousands of dollars in student debt may not align with your goals. This program is for those who want a fast, high-quality, and affordable alternative to enter the workforce with complete confidence.
The Self-Taught Professional
You’re currently working in an administrative or office role, and you frequently are tasked with designing flyers, social media graphics, or presentations. This program is for those who have discovered a passion for design, but need the technical and professional training to master the craft.
Career Changer - Freelance Seeker
You’re currently in a role that feels repetitive and limits your potential. This program is for those who want a flexible, and creative career with remote opportunities or the freedom to launch a freelance business. G
